DIY Deep Conditioner Treatment for Kinky Hair

Is your hair dull and dry? Try making this easy deep conditioner treatment and bring your hair back to life. The base of this treatment consists of shea butter, castor oil, and along oils for the hair.

Shea butter is a thick smoky smelling butter which comes from a shea tree that is originally found in West Africa and is extracted from the trees seeds. Some uses of shea butter are softening hair, massaging scalp, and protecting hair from UV rays.

Castor oil is a sticky oil that is originally from East Africa. The oil is excreted from the seeds of the Castor plant. Ithas natural antibacterial and antifungal properties, high amounts of Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids, and high ricinoleic acid ratio. It prevents hair loss, dandruff, and scalp infections. Castor oil in return aids in hair growth, replenishing the scalps natural oils, and making hair stronger with less frizz.

Ingredients:

A small saucepan

2 tablespoons organic coconut oil

2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil

1 tablespoon of castor oil

2 drops rosemary oil

½ cup of Shea Butter

Application:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a small pan and put it on medium heat for about 1 minute on the stove.

2. Remove from stove and allow it to cool for about 5 minutes.

3. Apply the cool mixture on the scalp, from the roots to the tips of your hair.

4. Rinse the treatment out after a hour or leave it in overnight for better results.
